Jaap Bos (1961) is a writer, artist, and psychologist. He lives and works in Utrecht. Bos is self-taught. He paints, makes prints, and in recent years also creates “objects” that express a certain longing.

Bos enjoys walking, preferably in the mountains, because he thinks that’s good for his soul. He is an admirer of the work of Max Beckmann, and of expressionist printmaking in general. He has written several books.
